I especially appreciated his coaching on resume writing. Some problems were explained in the examples, some aren't so you'll have to do research outside the book to get some answers. It would be good if the plot was stronger also and not revealed so early to make it a bit more interesting. The book begins by exposing the flaws of using R/P ratios to forecast future supplies of coal, which ironically is the most common method used to estimate how much coal we have. Great message that we can't change things on our own and we need to let God be in control. The only complaint I can conjure up is that the paperback format will force me to purchase another copy when this one begins to fall apart because of overuse. It seemed that Smith and her co-author assume that extraterrestrials are obligated to help earthlings, which is absur
