The Executive’s Guide to Finding a New Job, a guidebook by Nicholas Pierce, hopes to inform readers on how to develop a job-finding approach to take their careers to the next level. In an effort to present the realities of the job market as it exists today, Pierce uses his 35 years of retained search experience to help construct these tactics. This book has been written to be a "quick read" for the busy executive.

According to Pierce, many accomplished executives simply do not know how to look for a job. He argues that finding a new position is a science that requires a strategic and thoughtful technique, a plan that goes beyond what competitors are doing to secure the limited opportunities in the marketplace. Assumes that you have some previous knowledge/background in electronics so the reading is at an intermediate level. If you are suffering from anxiety and have difficulties in getting used to the social environment around you then this book would be a very helpful in getting over it because it not only provide steps and actions to get rid of anxiety but it discusses it by giving real experiences that the author has been through himself. Similarly, some of the descriptions of horrors again seem to be based on the "worst case" of available accounts.

=== Summary ===

While I wouldn't say the book is a comprehensive look at all the disasters that have affected mankind, it is a very reasonable assortment of some of the major ones. His stor
