Lindsay is a graduate of the College of Education at Grand Valley State University. She is a Michigan native with a love of Petoskey Stones and a desire to teach her students about the great state of Michigan and all of its beauty.
Those familiar with John Darnton's reporting and works of fiction will be awed and surprised by the writing in his gripping memoir, "Almost A Family". It didn't take her long but she says that it was a good book and she enjoyed it.. Also, a cellular telephone message can be more intrusive. Fortunately the Griersons were a letter-writing (and saving) family, and the Leckies were able to substantiate much of their biography with information (and emotions) garnered from these letters. Kudos to the authors for covering the ground they did. This is an excellent, intelligent book--a must for the scholar and general reader alike interested in religion, politics, and the law.. Her hardest choice seems to be telling the truth. I found it wonderful for afternoon "quiet time" (ie: child is too old for naps but needs a little time to himself to settle down a bit and unwind).
