Lisa Maria Hogeland is an Associate Professor of English at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. Hogeland, who holds a B.A. in comparative literature and a Ph.D. in Modern Thought and Literature from Stanford University, is the author of a groundbreaking study on the consciousness-raising novel, Feminism and Its Fictions. Shay Brawn received her Ph.D. in Modern Thought and Literature from Stanford University and is currently a lecturer in Stanford's Program in Writing and Rhetoric and Artistic Director of Aunt Lute Books.
The kinestic activity of tieing the visual cue to the word enhances the learning process. Chemistry was good between the characters. I've had previous Chilton manuals which were much better, this was a disappoint. The author also espoused the cause for embracing a common culture. This book was especially helpful in tutoring Student Teachers for the PLT and Content tests.. This creative new Christmas Story will appeal to children - perhaps even more so than the original, with the individual animal caricatures more fully engaging children’s love of animals of all types. No glossary is included although there is an extensive 'endnotes' section to see where they got the info from.
